Sonderborg provides an array of shopping options, from the Mall Borgen, with both supermarket, clothing and shoe stores, as well as opticians and hairdressers. We also have our shopping street in city center, with a great option of stores. Further from the center you can find furniture, hardware and electronic stores.
Sonderborg has a big spread of both Cafés and restaurents, with many options for both calm lunches, to family get togethers or celebratory dinners. The city center also has an array of icecream shops for those hot summer days.
In city center you'll find our big luxious cinema inside Borgen. There is also several koncert and theater options locally.
Sonderborg has many clubs, among others for sport activities, dance, boardgames, and much more. Cafés such as Æ Bræt provides a location for social gatherings. There is also several fitness club option in town.
The city has a beach locally by the castle, but the island of ALS has many options for beach locations. The island also have several naturprotected areas, in which you can hike and explore, and some where you can stay the night in shelter/tent.
